David and his team were absolutely amazing. The food was delicious – many people came up to me throughout the night to say so. David was also incredibly flexible in developing the menu, setting up the timing for the evening, and in addressing some random requests we had (e.g. moving one of the cab tables from the patio to the side of the dance floor just before the band started so we could have some slap bracelets and glow stick necklaces out for people – it was an 80s band; and serving homebrew for our post-ceremony toast). The food and the service were an excellent value (we shopped around and his prices were slightly below other popular caterers in Denver and his food was tastier and he was more flexible to work with us).

David and his staff were very professional to work with throughout the whole process.

David – I want to thank you so much for catering the bar mitzvah last Saturday night. We knew the food would be delicious (which it all was) and I can’t tell you how many people came up to me and told me the Rueben egg rolls were amazing! I know I told you earlier on that I didn’t need food for all the kids – since they would just eat the chips and salsa. Thank you for pushing me to up my numbers. The taco truck had numerous issues ( I won’t use them again!) and I was so happy you were there and had food ready to go for everyone. Also, as for the cookies, let me just say next time you bake cookies for a bunch of teenage boys account for them to eat a lot! They loved them!!! I saw a couple of the boys on Sunda yand they said they ate at least 3 of the chocolate chips. Next time, I will double my cookie order.

We have another bar mitzvah in 3 years. We will be sure to call you about catering the whole thing next time. Meanwhile, if you need any references, please feel free to use me. I will say nothing but great things about you. I have never hired a caterer before but I felt really good knowing you were there and had everything under control.

As I had mentioned to you while at the event, it was an honor meeting you and actually getting to sample your fine culinary items. I appreciate the time you took out of your busy venue to speak with me regarding your experience on The Food Network and at the same time share some of your skills and practices in how you prepare some of the items.

DAVID AND SCRATCH CATERING MADE ME LOOK LIKE A HERO!!! David/Scratch Catering is the BEST CATERER I’VE EVER USED!! I have been a meeting planner for several years and we all know how hard it can be to find a reliable caterer with great food – David has both!! Scratch Catering offers a ton of menu choices and all the food is awesome. David’s desserts are the most delicious I’ve ever tasted and his main courses, salads and appetizers are all outstanding.

David is reliable, he creates awesome menus for me and he is always a HUGE HIT with any group I’m catering for. David is impeccable in all he does and I never worry about him showing up on time (he’s usually early!). His food regularly receives RAVE reviews and there are never any leftovers when it comes to his desserts.

I’ve given David’s information to all the Executive Assistants and Secretaries where I work – I wanted to keep Scratch Catering all to myself but I had to share – he’s too good not to. David – I wish you every success with your business!!
